Speakers on WV Law Available to Present about Employment Issues after a Workplace Injury

On September 12, 2017, a group of three Jenkins Fenstermaker attorneys had the honor of presenting to the West Virginia Rural Water Association (WVRWA) at their 32nd Annual Training and Technical Conference in Charleston, West Virginia (WV).   Their presentation was entitled, “Accidents Will Happen:  Employment Issues After a Workplace Injury.”

Henry Bowen updated the audience on recent developments in workers' compensation law.  Nate Kuratomi spoke about the deliberate intent exception to the immunity otherwise afforded employers by the workers' compensation law. Steven Snyder addressed West Virginia’s new law on the drug and alcohol testing of employees.

The group’s presentation was aimed at helping employers to deal with workplace injuries.  How do employers handle the issues that arise from those injuries?  What steps might employers take now to mitigate their liabilities from the next accident?

Jenkins Fenstermaker is happy to offer its experienced attorneys, speakers on WV law, to give this presentation to your business. For information, use our firm Contact form or call (304) 523-2100.
