Dear Friends and Clients,
Jenkins Fenstermaker, PLLC has followed West Virginia Governor Jim Justice's directives in an effort to halt the spread of COVID-19 and protect our employees, clients, communities and healthcare systems. As part of those efforts, we have transitioned our attorneys and staff to work remotely.
Our management team has implemented the technology, data security, and training protocols necessary for our attorneys and staff to work from home with the same level of quality and data security that you have come to expect from our attorneys. We continue to meet deadlines, attend hearings and participate in meetings and by video, telephonically, or in person, if necessary and possible within the CDC guidelines.
All of our attorneys are available by phone, email, and video communications. Additionally, our voicemail messages are transferred to our mobile telephone and e-mail systems so that your calls continue to be answered or returned in a timely manner. All of our attorneys also have posted their mobile phone numbers on their e-mail signature blocks so that you may reach them after hours if needed.
We have been helping our clients face challenges for 97 years and we stand ready to help you face this one. In addition to our normal practice, we have a team of attorneys versed on new statutory and regulatory changes specific to COVID-19. We are prepared to assist with the specific issues created by this pandemic, including:
* Regulatory Issues
* Business Planning
* Contractual Disputes, including Force Majeur Clauses
* Insurance Coverage and Policy Evaluation
* Employment Issues including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and OSHA concerns
* Estate and Financial Planning
* Workers' Compensation Compensability Issues
We wish you, your families and your organizations resilience in the coming weeks. Please know that Jenkins Fenstermaker, PLLC will continue to represent and support you as we have done for the past 97 years. We look forward to emerging from this crisis stronger and better prepared for what the future may bring for all of us.
