Commercial litigation defense in West Virginia (WV) is a multifaceted area of the law that requires knowledge, diligence, and determination. Megan attended West Virginia University (WVU) for her undergraduate degree, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in criminology with a minor in political science. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Charlotte School of Law. Her education, as well as time spent working as a legal intern, law clerk, and paralegal before becoming an attorney, has equipped her with strong legal skills and practical know-how that have bolstered her career as a WV litigation defense lawyer and more.

Megan is a WV commercial litigation defense attorney with passion for her work. Her experience in title litigation, real estate, property-related matters, and title work pair perfectly with her primary litigation practice and have provided her with a great foundation and major advantage as a WV oil and gas lawyer. She is admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of West Virginia, the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the Supreme Court of Alabama.

Active in the legal and local community, Megan is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, Cabell County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute (DRI), Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia (DTCWV), and Generation Huntington. She has also volunteered her time for legal and local causes, including offering her time to draft wills for local fire department employees through the Wills for Heroes Foundation and participation in Women Build Week, a Habitat for Humanity project to help build homes for families in need.

While both driven and hardworking, Megan still enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She spends much of that time cooking, enjoying a new Netflix series with her husband, experiencing exciting milestones with her son, reading her favorite authors, playing with her two dogs, and rooting on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
