Wes Agee's practice emphasizes representation of non-profit and profit business entities, including business corporations, general and limited partnerships, professional corporations, limited liability companies and sole proprietorships. Wes provides a comprehensive range of services for individuals and large and closely held or family businesses in the areas of formation of new business entities, facilitating mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, and he provides advice and counsel on business planning and operations, employment agreements, contracts, local and state business taxation, ownership, family transfers, zoning, subdivision and other land use questions. Wes received his B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University in 1976 and his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1979. Wes is involved in a number of civic activities. He is an alumnus of Leadership Tri-State and currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Marshall University H.E.L.P. Program (Higher Education for Learning Problems), the Board of Directors of Riverview Manor, Inc. and as Trustee of the First Presbyterian Church Foundation. Wes is married and has four grown children.
