Sarah Walling joined Jenkins Fenstermaker in June 2010. Sarah focuses her practice in the areas of governmental liability, construction claims, insurance defense and coverage issues, and real estate litigation. She represents corporations, public entities, and insurance companies throughout West Virginia and eastern Kentucky. Sarah has won dismissals of numerous claims against counties, cities, and elected officials in both state and federal courts. She has also defended cases at all stages of the litigation process and participated in mediation to obtain favorable, cost-effective results for her clients.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000, Sarah worked at Gracy Title Company, a Stewart Title Company affiliate located in Austin, Texas, where she assisted with the real estate closing process and issuance of title insurance for both residential and commercial properties in a rapidly expanding market. Sarah uses the knowledge and experience she gained with Gracy Title to clear title defects, defend against title insurance claims, and solve legal issues arising during eminent domain proceedings.

As a resident of Huntington, West Virginia, Ms. Walling is active in many civic organizations. She currently serves as Vice President of the Cabell County Bar Association and is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and the Defense Research Institute.
